LAW Common Entrance Test (LAWCET) is a Common Entrance Test which is conducted by the CONVENER, LAWCET, Department of Law, ________ on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission into 3Year / 5 Year LL.B Regular Courses in the Colleges of Law in Andhra Pradesh.
The eligibility criteria to appear for LAWCET and for admission into 3-Year LLB/BL Course and 5 year LLB/BL Course is given below.
For 3-Year LLB/BL Course:
- Provided that the Candidates who have passed Degree examination by single sitting without undergoing three years course either through regular or Private or correspondence and those who obtained the Degree through open University system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible to appear for LAWCET and LAWCET-AC.
- Should have obtained 45% marks on the aggregate in the qualifying examination (5% relaxation in case of SCs and STs).
- Should be of Indian Nationality.
For 5-Year LLB/BL Course
- Provided that the applicant who has obtained 10+2 or graduation /Post graduation through open University system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible to appear for LAWCET and LAWCET-AC.
- Should have obtained 45% marks on the aggregate in the qualifying examination (5% relaxation in case of SCs and STs).
- Should be of Indian Nationality.
LAWCET Registration Fee:
- Rs.250 for LAWCET 3 / 5Years
- Rs.500 for PGLCET
