Change of Nomenclature of various programmes under the Faculty of Journalism- Retaining the existing patterns, Practical Components, hours dedicated and the workload as per UGC Regulation notified in the Gazette of India July 5, 2014- Resolutions of the meeting of the Academic Council held on 17-07-2017 as approved by the Senate held on 22.07.2017 – Implemented- Approved- Orders issued.

Bachelor of Physical Education- 4 year BPE programme of University of Calicut – Nomenclature changed to BPEd (Integrated)-Implemented – Orders issued

Master of Journalism and Television Production – Change of nomenclature- as Master of Visual Communication with effect from 2015-16 admission on wards – approved – Orders issued.

BA Programme in Mass Communication – Change of nomenclature – as BA Programme in Mass Communication and Journalism with effect from 2014 admission- approved -implemented – Orders issued.

Re-structure of nomenclature – BA Travel and Tourism as BTTM (Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management) and MTA as MTTM (Master of Travel and Tourism Management) with effect from 2014 admission- approved -implemented – Orders issued.
