Course details :
Course offered : Post Graduate Diploma course in Tea Technology and Plantation Management (PGDTTPM)
Course duration : The course is of 2 (two) semesters with a total duration of 1 (one) year.
Eligibility criteria for admission: Bachelor degree in any stream including Agriculture, Engineering/Technology, Business Administration and Computer Application from any recognised University securing at least 40% in Major or 45% marks in aggregate
Programme Highlight: 86.5% placement of the last two batch students.
Method of Selection for admission: Admission seat allotment will be Based on merit and an entrance test followed by an interview and group discussion. The question paper shall be of 50 marks, one hour duration and will consist of objective type questions on general awareness, quantitative aptitude, test of reasoning and basic knowledge on tea and related industry. There shall be no negative marking. There shall be 50 marks for interview/group discussion, career and extra curricular activities
Test Centres: The venue for the Entrance Test will be conduct at “Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh-786004.”
How to apply for admission to the course:
The prescribed application form can be obtained from the Office of the Centre for Tea and Agro Studies, Dibrugarh University on payment of Rs.300/- at the Punjab National Bank, Dibrugarh University Branch payment must reach to the Account No. PNB A/C: 0157002100032540 (code: PNBO 994000) of the Punjab National Bank in the prescribed format available in the University website.
The Fees can be tendered through any Branch of Punjab National Bank. The filled-in Application Forms along with all self attested testimonials shall have to be submitted at the Centre for Tea and Agro Studies, Dibrugarh University latest by 23rd July, 2015

PGDTTPM 2017 Entrance Test Admit Card shortly available to download in DIBRU official website. The admit card will be appear before one week from the date of commencement of entrance test
Intake capacity:
The intake capacity of the course is 20 seats (16 open, 2 endowment and 2 in the sponsored categories respectively). In case, no sponsored candidate is available then the seats reserved for this category (i.e. 2 seats) shall be filled up from the endowment category.
