GATE 2019 Exam Pattern & Syllabus Download – GATE 2019 exam pattern : GATE 2019 examination carrying a maximum of 100 points will include 65 questions. However, this time, the GATE 2019 examination will be two types of questions will be asked.

multiple-choice questions (MCQ):. MCQ questions carrying 1 or 2 marks each will be called in all the papers.
Four options for each question and the candidate will be given options to select the correct answer.
Numerical answer questions. Last year in 2013 and 2014, each paper will not have any choice given to these questions within 1 or 2 points each carrying some numerical answer type questions. Online keyboard in the box with the candidates of the exam question is to write down the numerical value.

Marking Scheme: 1 mark multiple choice questions, 1/3 mark will be deducted for wrong answers. Likewise, for 2 marks multiple choice questions, 2/3 mark will be deducted for wrong answers. However, no negative marking for numerical answer type questions that note.
