Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HIMTU), Hamirpur, H.P. has published the online e-admit card for Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET – 2016) through online official website on 7th May 2016. This is good news for those candidates who are preparing to appear for HPCET 2016. The candidates who are going to appear for the HPCET 2016 can be downloaded their online admit card immediately through online for attending of the HPCET entrance test on 14th (or) 15th May 2016.

All the related candidates who are eligible to appear for the HPCET Exam 2016 may download the online admit card / hall ticket now (If you didn’t download it before). The candidates who are going to appear for the HPCET 2016 must carry their admit card along with relevant identity card to allow into examination hall. The eligible candidates for HPCET 2016, can follow the below mentioned process in order to downloading of HPCET 2016 online E-admit card.

How to download the admit card :

• Logon to : http://results.indiaresults.com/hp/himtu/hpcet-admit-card-2016/query.htm
• Enter Form No. / Name and select Programme and then click on find Admit Card
• Now check the admit card and take print out it

Note :

1. Candidates can check the e-Admit Card carefully for your Name, Test Center Name, Place and Category
2. The Examination Rooms/Hall will be opened 30 minutes before the commencement of the test, so candidates are required to attend before 30 minutes to the examination hall.
3. Candidates don’t forget to bring their admit card, when you are going to write exam.

Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Tests (HPCET-2016) Question Paper Pattern

Mode of Entrance Tests

• The Entrance Test for each course shall be conducted in single offline (Pen and Paper Based Test) mode.
• All questions shall be objective type (multiple choice questions); each question with choice of four answers.
• The candidate will have to choose one correct answer only.
• Two marks shall be awarded for each correct answer and 0.5 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
• While the candidate can skip a question, but should not choose more than one option as correct answer.
• Language of the Question Papers: The language of all question papers will be English.

HPCET 2016 ANSWER KEYS, PROCEDURE TO RESOLVE TIES

1. The answer keys for various entrance examinations shall be available on the University website by 5.00 PM on the respective dates of entrance examinations.
2. Candidates can forward their written complaints along with supporting documents/solution pertaining to question papers/answer keys and it must reach in the office of the Controller of Examination, H.P. Technical University, Gandhi Chowk, Hamirpur-177001 (H.P.) within two days, from the date of conducting respective examinations, by 5.00 PM through e-mail coehimtu@gmail.com Thereafter, no complaint in this regard shall be entertained.

HPCET 2016 Declaration of Result

The result of HPCET-2016 will be uploaded on the University‘s website www.himtu.ac.in and will also available on the Notice Board of the University as per the schedule mentioned in Table-3. The result of each candidate will be provisional. The detail of marks can be obtained from the University website.
