The students who qualified MBBS course are eligible to apply for JIPMER Medical Entrance Exam 2016 -
JIPMER will arrange the Medical Entrance exam on 15th May 2016 at 30 various cities over all India. -
JIPMER MD / MS Admissions 2016-17 made based on online entrance test merit -
The online medical entrance exam shall be ONLY ONE PAPER of three hours duration consisting of 250 objective type of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). -
The question paper consists total 250 MCQs questions from Basic Clinical Sciences-100 & Clinical Sciences-150 Questions -
Each correct answer will be awarded four marks and negative mark will be given for incorrect response -
For every incorrect response, ONE mark will be deducted. -
JIPMER MD / MS admissions counseling will be made based on online entrance test merit. -
The applicants may be better to participate in Mock test to improvement for main exam.

Eligibility criteria
- Applicant must possess MBBS with required pass percentage or an equivalent Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Must have either completed, or due to complete, one year rotatory internship training on or before 30-06-2016.
- Must be registered with Central / State Medical Registration Council.
Application Fee
- For UR/ OBC/ Sponsored/ Foreign: Rs.1200/-
- For SC/ ST: Rs.800/-
