West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will be conduct the JELET 2017 centralized counseling and admission process of the merit listed candidates seeking admission to 2nd Year (3rd Semester) of Engineering / Pharmacy Degree Colleges / Institutions and Universities of West Bengal through counseling under LATERAL ENTRY scheme in the academic session 2017-18. WBJEEB was successfully conducted the JELET Entrance test on 11th June 2017 for eligible candidates, also there are so many eligible candidates participated for JELET 2017, all those candidates who qualified for JELET 2017 Counselling, you can download the Counselling form and Counselling schedule.
All the related candidates who wrote JELET 2017 Entrance test are advised to check your GMR (General Merit Rank) from 30th June 2017 online at www.wbjeeb.in/jelet.aspx. WB JELET 2017 Counselling Dates & Admission process
For admission into the Second Year (3rd Semester) of Engineering / Pharmacy Degree courses in West Bengal Institutions / Colleges, it is essential for the candidates to have appeared in the State Common Entrance Examination i.e. JELET-2017 and to secure a rank and it has been decided by the State Government in the Higher Education Department to continue the admission process on the basis of the norms of the AICTE and other regulatory authorities.
Previous year (In 2016 year) WB Board was successfully conducted the JELET 2016 Counselling from 29th August 2016 to 2nd September 2016 at GITAJALI STADIUM, Rajdanga, Kasba ( near E.M. Bypass) Kolkata-700 107. This academic year (2017 year) JELET 2017 Counselling Schedule will be declared by WB Board after announcement Rank cards.
COUNSELLING FORM of JELET 2017
Counseling Form can be downloaded from Board’s website: www.wbjeeb.in from August 2017 (Exact date update soon / if 2016 year date is 25th August 2016). Candidates should bring the downloaded and duly signed Counselling form (as stated above) with them on the day of counselling.
WBJEEB – JELET 2017 Counselling Fee and e-Challan
The candidates who are going to appear for JELET 2017 counselling, you should need to pay the Counselling fee of Rs. 510/- by either to any branch of Allahabad Bank during banking hours. The offline method through system generated e-challan which can be downloaded from the board’s website: www. wbjeeb.in or they can submit counseling fee by online method using Debit card/Credit card/ net banking ( any one ) through the link which is available in the website :www.wbjeeb.in

WBJEEB JELET 2017 Seats Reservation for various category candidates
- Reservation of seats for SC/ST/PWD/OBC-A/OBC-B is applicable to candidates of West Bengal only.
- SC/ST/PWD candidates of other states cannot avail of this facility.
WBJEEB JELET 2017 Admissions Procedure | Counselling Process
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will conduct the centralized counselling for filling up of Second Year (3rd Semester) of Engineering / Pharmacy course through JELET Entrance test 2017 Merit. The eligible candidates in JELET 2017 will be called for Counselling. Counselling as per the declared schedule shall continue till availability of seats. Candidates belonging to States other than West Bengal shall not be considered for admission to Govt. Engineering & Technology Colleges.
Any candidate appearing at the counseling with counterfeit documents/testimonials will be immediately handed over to the police
Required documents to be submit at the time of counselling verification process
At the time of counseling candidates should report with the following documents
- Downloaded Counselling form duly signed
- Print out of Rank Card 2017
- Board’s copy of the e-Challan (to be retained by the Board), if payment is made through Offline mode.
- JELET-2017 Admit Card Downloaded
- CASTE certificate in original (for SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B candidates of West Bengal only) issued by competent authority.
- Domicile Certificate issued by competent authority as mentioned in the Information Brochure of JELET-2017, if the candidate seeks admission to Government Engineering and Technology Colleges
- PWD certificate in Original (for PWD candidates of West Bengal only) issued by competent authority.
Eligibility criteria for PWD Candidates
The PWD candidates claiming seats under reserved category are required to satisfy the undernoted criteria
For PWD (loco motor disorder, visual impairment, speech and hearing impairment) category candidates a minimum of 40% disability is required subject to the condition that the candidate is capable of carrying out all activities related to theory and practical works as applicable to BE / B.Tech / B.Pharm courses without any special concession and exemption.

My diploma branch is electronics and communication engineering, and instead of writing electronics and communication engineering I had written electronics engineering. Maybe.. Bcz only registration form there available. Maybe There will Give The CouncillinG FoRM in that place of councilling. No Need To worry about it.. I am also tensned about many things regarding to The CouncillinG and admission process. My GMR is 123, and Civil Engg Branch RanK is 26.. Hopefully i will Do all the procedure correctly and Get the Govt college.
