An Airman in the youth can join either technical and air force as non-technical trades. Airman Cadre provides opportunities for men (men only) with or below the postgraduate i.e. ‘x’, ‘y’ or ‘technical’ in any of the 10 + 2 / intermediate, undergraduate, diploma holders and three fighter groups. Jade ‘and non-technical trades Candidates are known through a strict training diet in one of the appropriate allocated and training institutes, listed after the short preliminary selection process. After this, they are included and posted on Airmen’s post in any of the Air Force stations.

Under Technical Trades, as an Airman, the maintenance of work and flight testing of aircraft and flying equipment are included.
