Bodoland University issued the general official information to all concerned that the issue of Admission Prospectus of PG Programmes for the Academic session 2016-2017 from the office counter has been closed, due to shortage of prospectus. Aspiring candidates are asked to download the admission prospectus along with form from our university website: www.bodolanduniversity.ac.in and submit the Admission form on or before 11th July 2016 (Monday) between 11.00 AM to 3.00PM with fee of Rs.700.00 (Seven hundred) only. Payment may be made through Bank Draft in favour of Registrar, Bodoland University or at Cash Counter.

Bodoland University PG Admissions 2016-17 | PG Entrance Test Eligibility Criteria
The interested candidates who want to apply for Bodoland University PG Admissions 2016-17, you can check the eligibility criteria, application fee for entrance test, online application procedure, PG seats availability, Admission procedure etc details at below.

Eligibility criteria :

1. For MA/ MSC/ MCOM/ MBA/ MCA : Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 50% pass marks and relevant subjects would be in bachelor degree level
2. For PGDHRE : Any graduate with 45% marks or equivalent grade, having interest to study Human Rights
3. For Ph.D. : Any person with at least 55% marks or equivalent Grade (50% marks or equivalent Grade in case of SC/ST candidates) in a Master’s Degree

Registration Fee & Payment mode :

• Application Fee: Rupees 600/-
• Downloaded Copy: Rupees 700/-
• Mode of Payment: Cash or Demand Draft.

If Demand Draft : Demand Draft has to be made in favour of ‘The Registrar, Bodoland University, Kokrajhar’ payable at SBI North Kokrajhar Branch, (branch code-7379) Kokrajhar.’

Application Procedure:

• The interested and eligible candidates can get the application form along with prospects and read the prospectus carefully and acquaint himself/ herself with all requirements with regard to filling in of the online application form.
• A candidate is allowed to submit separate applications for separate departments.
• The application can be either downloaded or purchased

Cancellation of Seats:
A student failing to attend classes for 07 days (Seven days) at a stretch from the date of commencement of classes shall forfeit his/her seat. Admission fees is non refundable.

Course Duration:

The Course of studies leading to the award of degree of Masters shall be based on the course duration of the respective departments and area of study:

a. M.A./M.Sc./MBA – 2 years (4 Semesters)
b. MCA – 3 years (6 Semesters)
c. DBT – 1 year (2 Semesters)
d. PGDHRE – 1 year (2 Semester)

Procedure for Selection
Based on merit of the PG Entrance Examination 2016

Admission procedure:

1. The admission into PG course will be based on entrance examination merit. The decision of the Admission Committee regarding admission is final and binding.
2. If a forged document submitted by a candidate is detected even after admission, the admission will stand cancelled.
3. The Admission Committee has every right to refuse admission, if the candidate fails to produce the original documents at the time of admission.
4. A candidate must face the counselling personally at the time of admission. However, if the candidate cannot turn up due to unavoidable reasons his/ her guardian may represent him/ her.
5. Note : Fees once paid are not refundable

Documents to be submitted at time of admission

Documents to be attached at the time of Admission along with the Application Form (Attested copies):

a. Number of Photographs – 2 recent passport size copies.

b. Degree Mark-sheets (All the semesters and consolidated, if available)

c. Certificates from the Head of the Institution last attended.

d. H. S. L. C. Certificate or Admit Card for verification of age/Relevant certificate(s) from concerned authority in case of applying for admission under any category of reservation.

e. H.S.S.L.C. Certificates.

f. Migration Certificate.

g. Students passing the qualifying examination earlier than the current year will have to submit a gap certificate from any of the followings, whichever is applicable:

• The Head of the Institution last attended.
• Officer in-charge of the nearest Police Station.
• Govt. Gazetted Officer testifying his/her activities during the interim period.
• Medical Certificate from the Govt. Medical Officer on genuine medical grounds.
