APPGCET 2021 Admissions | Counselling for Post Graduate Courses

Admissions are conducted through a process of web based counseling. The schedule for certificate verification will be announced after declaring the results. Before allotment of admissions, the qualified and eligible candidates have to exercise options through web in the order of their preference. Candidates seeking admissions if any under special categories of CAP, NCC, NSS, Sports & PH Category will be called for certificate verification and intimated along with the counseling schedule. Admissions under these categories are as per the latest government orders / directions of Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The Convener of APPGCET Admission shall prepare and notify the schedule for admissions, venue, timings and all other necessary details in at least two leading national daily newspapers (one vernacular and one English), at least 8-10 days before the commencement of counseling. The decision of the Committee for APPGCET Admissions shall be final in issuing the notification, the schedule and procedure of counseling. The Convener of APPGCET Admissions shall adopt computerized Single Window System of Counseling either by following centralized or decentralized Online Counseling at various centers for the convenience of the Candidates and shall prepare the seat matrix of Institutions. He/she shall make all the necessary arrangements for manpower, admission venue, drawing scrutiny officers from other departments, fee collection, networking, facilities for Online Counseling at various centers, mobilization of software etc., in consultation with the Admissions Committee.

Note : Admissions shall be made in the order of merit on the basis of the rank assigned in the relevant branch in the Common Entrance Test (APPGCET) through online web based counseling only. Institutional Spot admissions shall not be permitted.

CU Degree 1st Allotment Results 2020:

University of Calicut has already published trial allotment results in the last week and so as to give a fair idea to students as to which college they stand a chance to gain admission in. Now Calicut University plans to publish 1st Allotment Merit list.

The Calicut University will facilitate introduced Directorate of Admissions (DoA) in the year 2014 with a view to stream line the entire admissions process in the University Teaching Departments and affiliated colleges of the University. The main aim of DoA is conducting centralised admissions to various UG, PG, M.Phil & Ph.D programmes offered by the University and its affiliated colleges in a systematic, transparent and student friendly manner following all reservation rules. The major task of DoA is Centralised Admission Process(CAP) for UG and PG, which offers facility for online submission of single application for various UG & PG courses in multiple colleges affiliated to the University. CAP helps students to submit applications of their choice through simple online steps. This hassle free process is time saving, cost effective and ensures transparency in admission.

CU Degree 1st Allotment 2020:

The university has first released the trial allotment results. Around 40000 students have been said to register for UG CAP – the single window system platform for seat allotment and admission process. Now the university is gearing up to release the first allotment result at 11 AM today in the official portal i.e www.cuonline.ac.in.

In order to download the results, candidates are required to visit their official website, the link for which for which is http://www.cuonline.ac.in and click on the link, “CU Degree 1st Allotment 2020“.
