Apply For CBSE CTET Notification 2017
CBSE CTET exam notification is released on 10th June 2017. It’s a good chance for the eligible candidates and those who have not able to clear their exam in the previous year can apply again this time. Eligibility criteria for the CBSE CTET Exam 2017
Before filling the application form, all candidates are suggested to check the eligibility criteria. Here, we have mentioned the minimum qualification needed to appear in CTET exam. CTET exam is held to furnish the knowledge of teaching. Once any contender has successfully cleared the CTET exam then its Certificate of passing is eligible for 7 years from the date of result declaration. Check the eligibility criteria from below:
Academic qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION NEEDED TO BECOME PRIMARY TEACHER (1-5)
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION NEEDED TO BECOME ELEMENTARY TEACHER(6-8)
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks.
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Application fee: you can check the application fee on the official website of CBSE.
Structure of exam: There will be 2 papers of CTET.
Paper 1 will be for a person to be a primary teacher.
Paper 2 will be for a person to be elementary stage teacher.
All questions will be objective type. Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be no negative marking.
Important Note: Relaxation of 5% will be given in educational qualification for the candidates of reserved categories under the norms of Government of India.
