General information and Admission Instructions to the Candidates (HS 1st Year 2019-20)
Number of Seats available:
(i) Science (Day Shift): 375 seats (in 3 Sections)
This number includes 21 seats of Extra Curricular quota. Quotas of reserved seats for SC, ST, OBC etc. shall be calculated out of the remaining number.
(ii) Science (Morning Shift): 125 seats
The morning shift classes will be scheduled from 8.00 am onwards. Theory classes shall be taken by experienced faculties.
(iii) Arts: 160 seats
This number includes 21 seats of EC etc. quota. Quotas of reserved seats for SC, ST, OBC etc. shall be calculated out of the remaining number.

Cotton University Higher Secondary Admissions 2017 Notification Details
Cotton College State University invited from eligible candidates to apply for H.S. Admissions 2017-18 through online at www.cottonuniversity.ac.in on or before last. For convenience of the students and guardians, there will be NO application fees to be deposited. Also while submitting online applications, NO scanned copies of any documents/ photo need to be uploaded. NO physical forms need to be sent/submitted to the office. Only required data and information to be submitted online.

Eligibility Criteria
- A candidates must passed 10th Examination from SEBA, CBSE or any other recognized board.
- For CBSE Candidates: Candidates who passed the Board Final Examination (not school based) are eligible for the admission and to prove the same, they have to produce their admit cards during the admission process.

- Candidates should carefully read the instructions and follow the step by step procedures while filling up the online application form.
- Scroll down to end of the page, there will you see Online application for Science & Arts groups separately
- Choose your Group and click on it
- Fill there the required details and click on “Register Now” Button
After filling up the application form online, candidates should take a print out of the application form.
Cut off marks will be notified on 9th & 10th June for Science and on 15th June for Arts.
Note : Candidates should be submitted the online application form in or before last date

HS Seats Reservations
- There will be Higher Secondary Course Sear reservation policy as per rules of Government of Assam.
- Candidates must belong to Special Reserved Category of the State of Assam.
- All reservation certificates must be from authorized Government official of Assam.
- There will be five (5) reserved seats for Sports and five (5) reserved seats for Cultural category for the Science Stream as well as for the Arts stream.
Applications for such categories are required to be submitted along with a prinout of the submitted form and relevant documents latest by:
- For HS Science Stream – 10th June 2017
- For HS Arts Stream – 16th June 2017
