Cotton College State University recently published the official notification for Admission into Higher Secondary First Year Courses (Science & Arts) Session: 2018-19. According to the notification the online applications are invited from the eligible students as per rules of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council for admission into Higher Secondary First Year Courses (Science & Arts) for the session 2018-19 in Cotton University as per the schedule given below

Please Keep the Following Documents in the Format and Size As Specified Below Ready with You Before You Begin the Registration Process:
A soft copy of a professionally taken passport-sized photograph in JPEG and JPG format ONLY. Your head must face the camera directly with full face in view. Taken in the last 6 months .Use a plain white or off-white background. Selfies taken using smartphones are NOT allowed and will be rejected. Please ensure that the size of the photo between 20KB to 50 KB. You can resize your photo using any picture editor like Microsoft Paint/ Picture Manager
Scan your signature and make it ready for uploading. Please ensure that the Signature background is white. Size should be between 10KB to 50 KB.

Applicant are advised to use valid own email id and Mobile Number during Online Application, which will be used for the application process and subsequent communications.

2 ) Submit the relevant documents separately for each Student Welfare Quota to the office of the DSW, Cotton University (offline) OR send scan copies of documents to dsw@cottonuniversity.ac.in by 11th June, 2018
Students passing the qualifying examination earlier than the current year will have to submit a Gap Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended or the Officer in Charge of the nearest Police Station testifying to his/her activities during the Interim period. Candidates having more than 3 (three) years study gap i.e before 2015 will not be eligible for admission.
Candidates, who passed the CBSE class-10 Final Board examination (NOT school based), are only eligible for admission in HS level. In this regard, at the time of admission, every student will have to produce a certificate from the Head of the Institution certifying that he/she appeared the Board Examination.
Applicant are advised to download and take printout filled Application form after final submission of the form and keep the Application ID with you for further reference.

Please be careful while making the Final Submit of the form. Once it is finally submitted no change can be made it. None will be entertained in this regard.

Note : For Extracurricular (EC), scanned copies of relevant documents along with the scanned copy of the application form have to be submitted to the office of the Director of Students Welfare, Cotton University online at dsw@cottonuniversity.ac.in or off-line on or before 11th June 2018.
The Tentative Cut Off Marks shall be announced in the evening on 8th June 2018. University will not issue any physical application form or brochure from the office.
