OFFICER-IN-CHARGE : As per the mission of the Government of West Bengal to allow access to higher education to the maximum number of students even to the remotest parts of the state, twenty new government general degree colleges were established in the 2015-2016 academic session. Government General Degree College at Kaliganj was one of these twenty colleges and one of the four new colleges in the district of Nadia. The college has already completed three years of its journey.
