The key to getting good points is, better presentation Have you ever thought that there is so much difference between achieving equal knowledge and equally for those who work harder? The big reason for this is how the story or answer has been presented. If food is made good and it is served with the law, then it becomes pleasant to sleep. So learn the art of presentation. For this, you can follow the following points: –
- Write clear and well-structured. The idea is that your statement is clear, as well as your answer is clear and clean, it has a great effect on the examiner. For example, if you do cutting frequently during the writing, then it is more or less negative effect.
- Try to avoid spelling mistakes. It is so much expected from a mature graduate that he knows how to write correct spelling and does not make mistakes in grammar.
- There is a lot of confusion and upheaval in handwriting candidates. UPSC has written in its own instructions that your handwriting should be readable. So, you expect to try writing in clear and as good a handwriting as possible.
- Writing speed needs to be better, current pattern is needed. To fully solve the question paper, you have to practice writing at a fast pace. To get good marks, it is necessary to solve almost the entire paper. So improve the writing speed, but also maintain readability. The solution is to do more and more practice. Believe me, it is not so difficult either.
- Write in paragraph otherwise it may be difficult to read and understand your answer for the examiner. Practice sample writing of UPSC answer papers, writing in paragraphs on it. Paragraphs are not too big. Keep in mind that the new thing should always start with the new paragraph.
- I request that the word boundary be strictly followed. Do not ignore the rest of the questions in an attempt to write a question well. Also my personal advice is that you can also add your answers to 20-25 words below the prescribed word limit. This will help you solve the entire paper. Also, first of all, guess how many words you usually write a page. This will make it easier for you to follow the prescribed word limit. It should not happen that you have to count the words written in the examination hall and written in the answer. If there are 10-20 words around, then there is no need to worry.
- For a well-written and orderly written writing, it is important that you avoid adding ‘somewhere it’s a hitch somewhere’ to avoid the writing that comes into mind. My humble request is that when the time is short, make the mind a frame of mind and write it in an orderly and systematic way. While writing the essay there is considerable time to make the outline, but due to frequent interaction in general studies or alternate topics, this facility is not available. Therefore, write the answer to 150-200 words in a systematic way, then get better points. Due to the word boundary, the role of 2-3 rows and the results of 2-3 lines can be conclusively given.
- Now in the new pattern, question-cum-answer papers are given in General Studies and Essay Paper papers. In this, there is an empty space to write the answer along with the question. Here is my personal advice that you can solve the questions in the order of the order, because like the old pattern, now you can not change the order of questions according to your convenience in the answer sheet. In the old pattern, we often used to solve the question first, whose answers were better.
- There is a big confusion of the candidates that we should use the type of language while writing the answer. I believe that the right to language does not mean the use of pure Sanskrit language. Use simple, easy and simple language. Urdu and English words that are completely mixed in Hindi, can use them. Just keep in mind the ease.
In this way, in essence, it is not so difficult to improve writing skills. Improving the Writing Skills by continuous hard work, passion and will can be stepped up to get good marks.
