The e-Admit Card of eligible candidates appearing for JEXPO-2018 and VOCLET-2018 will be available from 30th April, 2018 in the website webscte.co.in.
West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development has been conducting the JEXPO entrance test for Admission to the First Year Classes of Diploma in Engineering & Technology & VOCLET for Second Year Classes of Diploma in Engineering & Technology. Also there are a huge of eligible candidates applied for WBSCTE – JEXPO / VOCLET Entrance test to be held 29th April, 2018 (Sunday) & 6th May, 2018 (Sunday) and they are eagerly waiting to downloading of their admit card (because there is not allowed to examination without proper admit card / hall ticket).
According to the official notification the actually date of availability of JEXPO & VOCLET 2018 Online e-Admit Card on 2nd April 2018, but WEST Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development (Technical Education Division) [A Statutory Body under West Bengal] going to issue the admit card in first week of April 2018 through their official website i.e. webscte.org. All the related candidates who applied for WBSCTE – JEXPO / VOCLET / CET-2018 Entrance test, you are suggested to download your admit card through online easily.

Process to downloading of admit card:
- Open the website: http://webscte.org
- Look for JEXPO/VOCLET/CET-2018 admit card link and click on it
- Enter your roll number and required info then click on submit button
- Finally you will see your admit card on screen
- Now you can check your details like name and roll number
- Then take print out of your admit card.
Note: We recommend you take two copies of admit card for safety (if one admit card lost then, you have another admit card as safe side).

Procedure for online application and validation thereof
Online application portal will be available in the website www.webscte.co.in. Applicants have to provide all information sought for and upload their photo, signature and LTI. After final submission of the form online, applicants have to take printout in duplicate of the filled in application form bearing photo, signature & LTI and get the application validated from any of the Polytechnics affiliated to WBSCT&VE&SD [Erstwhile WBSCTE] by submitting one copy of the application form and paying requisite application fee in CASH. After validation by the polytechnic authority, applicants can verify their validation through student login.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission (Candidates must check his/her eligibility prior to purchase of the application form)
For JEXPO:
Passed / Appeared* 10th standard with at least 35% marks in aggregate without the marks of additional subject (without rounding up**). Mathematics, Physical Science (Science) and English are mandatory subjects in the qualifying examination and a candidate must acquire at least pass marks in all the three subjects as per his/her secondary board.
For VOCLET :
Passed / Appeared* (10+2) Examination from WBSCT&VE&SD (VED) [Erstwhile WBSCVET) OR Passed 2 years’ continuous course of ITI after Madhyamik or equivalent examinations
For both
- * Subject to production of original mark sheet / pass certificate at the time of admission.
- ** Without rounding up means that any shortfall of marks from the above benchmark will render the candidate ineligible for JEXPO2018 (Example: 34.99% marks will not be considered as 35%)
Age Criteria
For JEXPO : No upper age limit. But candidate’s date of birth should not be after 01st July 2003
For VOCLET : No age limit.
Some Specific Guidelines to the applicants
- Prior to purchase of the application form, one must ensure his/her eligibility criteria for the respective examinations. Form once purchased, cannot be returned.
- All information related to above examinations, shall be available in the respective information brochures. Candidates must go through the brochure thoroughly prior to filling-up the application form.
- SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/LLQ certificates should be issued by the competent authority (as mentioned in the brochure) of the state of West Bengal. Such certificates issued from other states are not eligible to avail the scope of reserved category seats. So, candidates of other states should declare them as General Category candidates only. Otherwise, if reserved category seats are allotted to such candidates through counseling, admission will not be allowed by the Institutions.
- For availing the scope of DQ (District Quota) seats under JEXPO, candidates must specify the district of his/her schooling in Madhyamik or equivalent examination. Candidates of other states are not eligible for DQ seats.
- At any stage during persuasion of diploma education, if a candidate is found to be ineligible as per admission eligibility norms, his/her candidature will stand cancelled automatically.
- Number of polytechnics and diploma branches available in different polytechnics as mentioned in the information brochures of JEXPO-2018 & VOCLET-2018 may increase or decrease depending on availability of approval of the AICTE in 2018-19 and affiliation of the WBSCT&VE&SD (TED). Correct and final information in respect of polytechnics and branches shall be available at the time of Counseling.
- Securing a rank in any of the above examinations does not ensure a seat for admission
