1. What is NEET-UG?
National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (UG) A new qualification cum entrance examination published by the Medical Council of India, notified in accordance with the ‘Graduate Medical Education 1997 and rules of BDS Course Regulations, 2007’, published in the Gazette Extraordinary dated December 21, 2010 And 15th February, 2012 and as published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated May 31, 2012, Dental Council of India.

2. Why NEET?
To make an umbrella or single entrance test for all medical candidates in India.

3. What is the difference between AIPMT and NEET exam?
NEET is a national eligibility cum entrance test for admission in ‘MBBS / BDS courses’ in each academic year. Under the AIPMT All India quota, for the selection of candidates for admission in 15% seats, the CBSE was organized. With the introduction of NEET, said that the examination will replace AIPMT and other similar graduate level medical entrance exams.

The minimum age of the candidate is completed at 17 years of admission or will be completed on or before December 31 of the year of admission in his / her MBBS / BDS course.
The national eligibility for admission under 15% of a candidate is 25 years as on December 31, in the form of the maximum age limit entrance examination for All India Kota Seats (NEET) in Government Medical Colleges in the Government Medical Colleges.
