Important note / instructions for candidate for PUBDET Counselling
- Only the provisional merit listed candidates (General, SC, ST OBC-A, OBC-B & PWD) are eligible to appear in the counselling.
- Reporting in the counselling is mandatory otherwise his / her candidature will not be considered during generation of final merit rank list for admission and waiting list.
- Candidates are advised to report at counselling venue within time slot allotted against each.

Hi sweta Paul, WBJEEB will conduct the PUBDET Counselling at various centers in Kolkata City. Your counselling venue will available in your provided counselling call letter.
Since counseling and admission process is sequential according to rank, candidate has to appear for counselling on the specified date and time only

Hi sweta Paul, sorry for this late replay | The last rank for take admission is based on Cut-Off. But all those, who appear in the examination and have a rank, may not be eligible for counselling, for which a cut off rank and/or a cut off score will be decided by the board, which will be announced at the time of publication of the result.

Among them 3 seats are reserved for OBC (B). If you have the merit of Plus Two (10+2) more-that 75% marks in English. Then there is chance to get in Presidency University Campus Seat for English. Would like request if you can let us know when does the WBJEEB is planning to conduct the 3rd counseling for PUBDET 2017 (UG) against the vacancies (Political Science) department.
My daughter got 99% in political science and 94.25% in ISC.
We are really in dark regarding this and unable to figure out the process of admissions against vacancies in a particular department. We have been following up for over a month now and frankly we are not getting a table answer to the same. The response we got so far is that the WB Joint Entrance Board is going to publish and notify through the website and we need to follow the same 24*7. Will like to request and would greatly appreciate if you can help us with the exact information.
