How to check KSET 2018 Results

  • Step by step instructions to check KSET 2018 results are given below.
  • Applicant first log on the official website i.e. kset.uni-mysore.ac.in
  • Now Navigate to the link” KSET Result 2018″ and click on it.
  • To check the result candidates need to enter their Roll Number and submit it
  • After Submitting details candidates can now check their result
  • Once Result is displayed save it and take its print out

PROCEDURE AND CRITIRIA FOR DECLARATION OF KSET RESULT:

This will comprise the following steps for considering a candidate for the eligibility for Assistant Professors.

Step 1: The number of candidates to be qualified (total slots) for Eligibility for Assistant Professors shall be equal to 6% of the candidates appeared in both the papers of KSET-2018.

Step 2: The total slots arrived, again shall be allocated to different categories as per the reservation policy of Government of Karnataka.

Step 3: In order to be considered for ‘Eligibility for Assistant Professor’, the candidate must have appeared in both the papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for General (Unreserved) category candidates and at least 35% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for all candidates belonging to the reserved categories (viz., Cat-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, SC, ST, PWD) (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer).

Note:

  1. There is no provision for re-evaluation or re-totaling for K-SET.
  2. There will be no negative marking

Note : It may be noted that the above qualifying criteria decided by KSET is final and binding.

SCHEME AND DATE OF TEST:

The test was consisting of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The test was held on 30th December, 2018 (Sunday) in two separate sessions as mentioned below:

Exemption: KSET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities / Colleges / Institutions of Higher education (Government / Aided / Private) in Karnataka State.

Last date for submission of online application: 29th September 2018

Last date for submission of online application with late fee of Rs.150/- : 10th October 2018

Date of availability of answer key: 31st December 2018 (or) First week in January 2019

Date of publication of KSET Answer key : The Provisional Answer Keys of all the papers will be displayed on the website http://kset.unimysore.ac.in during 4th week of December 2018.

Answer Key Challenge Application :

The candidates who are not satisfied with Provisional Key Answers, may challenge by submitting application form paying a sum of Rs.1000/- per question, which is not refundable in any case.
