Meghalaya Board of School Education was founded in 1973. It is public board in the state. The board is state government board of education. Board headquarter is situated in Tura, India. The board official language is English. It is conduct two main exam Secondary school exam and higher secondary exam. The both exam is known as Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) as well as the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC).

MBOSE SSLC result 2018 : Meghalaya Board Of School Education (MBOSE) established in 1974, but after 1996, when the University (NEHU) discontinued the pre-university course,it was taken over by the Board,since then all the financial matters,relating with SSLC and HSSLC branch were being dealt by the board itself. After 1996,the board is handling all the academic matters related with framing of syllabus for all the classes,including SSLC and HSSLC.

Meghalaya Board Of School Education will going to declare the result of Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination 2018 on 19 May 2018 (Tentative) at 10:00 AM. All the candidates who want to check their result of 10th MBOSE can check it by give their roll no. on the official website, roll no.s placed on students admit card which is given to the student before examination because without admit card students are not allow to give their examination.
