This academic year the Coordinating University for CUCET 2017 Advertisement is CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF PUNJAB. These are Central Universities of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and South Bihar and Bengaluru Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics having joined. CUCET has been conducting for the students of 10+2 (Higher Secondary), Bachelor Degree (Under-Graduation) holders and Master Degree (Post-Graduation) holders to obtain admission into the UG (Bachelor Degree) / Integrated Program / B.Voc., Post Graduate Program and the Research Program respectively in these ten Central Universities. There are provides a single window opportunity to the students to seek admission in ten central universities across the country through CUCET 2017 merit.

CUCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who qualified 10+2 / Bachelor Degree holders / Master Degree Courses in relevant subjects with minimum of pass marks are eligible to apply for CUCET 2017. The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply for CUCET-2017, but at the time of admission counselling, he/she will have to produce the mark sheet / degree about their fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

Online registration payment mode: For payment through online/debit/credit card no extra charges are to be paid by the candidates.

• The candidates who are going to apply for CUCET 2017 are required to have a valid personal email ID and mobile number which should be kept active during the entire admission process

• CUCET Entrance test application available in online mode only (Application form through Postal/Courier/Personal mode will not be accepted under any circumstances)

• Candidates can follow the below given stats in order to Online apply for CUCET 2017 and you should apply for the test on or before last date i.e. 14th April 2017

Steps to follow to CUCET online application :

Applicants will receive SMS and Email alerts at the time of registration and also after completing the registration

1. Stage 1:

   Click on the apply button to go to the registration page
2. Stage2:
   There we can see for the three programs UG, PG and RP links
   Please select your CUCET for UG / PG / RP Programm
3. Stage 3:
   Then enter your details and click on Save & Proceed button
4. Stage 4:
   Now fill the online application form with your details in all required fields
   Please verify all the fields which are enter by you and finally click on Save & Proceed button
5. Stage 5:
   Now you are ready to upload your photo and sign scan files
   Then click on Upload Images & Proceed
6. Stage 6:
   Here you can register for the three courses in a particular selected program from each university.
   Now check and click on Save & Proceed
7. Stage 7:
   Now can edit his application form and go for payment processing online and offline (SBI Only) mode.
   Verify all details which are enter by you and click on Submit and Make Payment
8. Stage 8:
   In this stage student can proceed for payment processes.
9. Stage 9:
   In this stage student can add more courses.
10. Stage 10:
    Here you can register for the more three courses in a particular selected program from each university
    Click the details again and click to Save & Proceed
11. Stage 11:
    In this stage a candidate go for payment processing for additional courses through online and offline (SBI Only) mode.
12. Stage 12:
    Now you can view your dashboard, it has View Submitted Application Form, Check your payment status, etc.

Finally take print out the online application form.

Note: A candidate can apply for a particular programme for a maximum of three PUs with a maximum of 03 options of courses in each of the selected PU

CUCET Entrance test 2017 Question Paper Pattern

• CUCET test question paper will be available in two parts those are “Part A & Part B”
• Each paper will be only of Two Hours Duration.
• Question paper consist MCQ type questions only (The candidate will have to choose one correct answer and mark on OMR Sheet)

Question Paper Part-A:
Part-A contained 25 MCQs type questions from Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytical skills

Question Paper Part-B:
Part-A consist 75 of MCQ type questions from Domain Knowledge
This part may consist of three / four / five sections, Each section will have 25 questions

If the Admission for some Integrated Courses / MBA/ LLB or any other general course(s) then there will be only one paper containing of 100 MCQs Questions from English language, reasoning, data interpretations / numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills will be held.

CUCET-2017 Negative Marking System

There will be negative marking for this entrance test. Each correct answer will carry 01 mark and for each wrong answer, 0.25 mark will be deducted. If Questions not attempted will not be assessed and hence will not be considered for preparing final merit list.
