PUBDET Presidency University UG Admission Reservation
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will be provided reservation for various category candidates through PUBDET Entrance test. The reservation policies of West Bengal State Higher Education Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act, 2013 and West Bengal State Higher Education Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Rules, 2014 will be followed for admission in reserved seats for SC / ST / OBC- A/B.
PUBDET Preparation of final merit rank list
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will prepare the final merit rank list for those candidates who participated in PUBDET Entrance test. The ‘final merit rank list’ for admission and ‘waiting list’(rank-wise) will be prepared on the basis of summation of the aggregate percentage of marks (of the top four subjects excluding environmental science and education) obtain at the 10+2 lavel examination and the marks obtain in the respective admission test (after all correction and reporting is over).
Notes:
- After counselling is over and the candidate(s) who have qualified / merit listed finally more than one subject will be allowed to take final admission only one subject.
- If it is detected that a candidate has taken admission in two departments / subjects’ simultaneously his / her candidature in both subject shall stand cancelled or the authority of the Presidency University, Kolkata will decide which one will be retained.
- In such case the decision of Presidency University authority is final.
PUBDET Final Admission in Presidency University
After declaration of ‘final merit rank list’ through WBJEEB website, the merit listed candidates will have to report to the Presidency University, Kolkata along with necessary documents, Counselling Report Card and fees within the stipulated period as indicated in the UG Post Counselling Admission Notification issued by Presidency University, Kolkata authority which is available in websites.
