Government notification for Punjab Teet (Teacher Eligibility Test) 2016 has been released on the official website www.tetpunjab.com. School Education Department, Government of Punjab, SCERT, Punjab has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the examination. In this examination, the primary wing (classes 1 to 5) and upper primary wing (class 6 to 8) are organized for recruitment of teachers.
Different tests will be conducted for primary and upper primary level classes.
Eligibility criteria
Educational Qualification:
Classes 1 to 5 (elementary level)
The percentage of those interested in applying for the application should be passed with at least 50 senior secondary (or its equivalent) and should be passed or (by whatever name is known) two year diploma in primary education Must be seen in the last year.
Or
Percentage marks should be passed at least 45 with senior secondary (or its equivalent) or (as is also known by that name), NCTE (recognized in the final year of two-year diploma in elementary education as per the accreditation criteria and procedure Should be done), Regulations, 2002.
Or
At least 50 more passes should be performed with senior secondary (or its equivalent) percentage points or should be appearing in the last year of the four year bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed).
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) should be passed with at least 50 percent marks or should be appearing in the last year of the two year diploma in education (special education).
Or
By graduation level studies and passed or appearing in the final year of the two-year diploma in elementary education (as is also known by that name)
For classes 6 to 8 (Primary stage):
By graduation level studies and passed or appearing in the final year of the two-year diploma in elementary education (as is also known by that name)
Or
Passed at least 50 percent marks and graduation level or appeared in one year undergraduate (BEd) in the field of education.
Or
Passed with at least 45 percent marks and graduation level studies or as per the rules of the NCT issued from time to time in this regard from time to time, appearing in one-year Bachelor in Education (BEED) in the field of education.
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of four year bachelor (B.El.Ed) in the field of primary education.
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) percentage points at least 50 and passed or appearing in the final year of four years B.A / B.Sc.Ed or B.A. with Ed / B.Sc.Ed.
Or
Passed at least 50 percent marks and graduation level studies or appearing in a year B.Ed. (special education).
paper pattern
The test will include multiple choice questions (MCQ), carrying one mark from each of which, the same answer with four options will be correct. Any negative marking will be done.
There will be two letters of PSTET:
Paper I will be for a person who wants to teach in 5 classes.
Paper II, which will be for a person who wants to teach 8 classes 6.
