Cotton University PG Admission 2017 Venue, Procedure & Required Documents

Cotton College State University, Assam has published the Post-Graduation (M.A. / M.Sc. / MCA / PGDCA) admissions 2017-18 important date notification for the related candidates. The official notification approved by Academic Registrar “Nripendra Kr.Deka”. According to the official notification, Cotton University going to conduct the PG admissions on 7th August 2017 & 8th August 2017.

Cotton University will be issued the CUT-OFF Marks of selected and first waitlisted candidates list through the website from 31st July to 3rd August, 2017 for both Cotton graduates and Open categories.

The venues of the admissions to each course will be declared on 4th August evening

SVNIRTAR CET 2018 Counselling / Admission Procedure

Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training & Research was successfully conducted the COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (SVNIRTAR – CET) 2017 on (Sunday) 2nd July 2017 for admission into (BPT / BOT / BPO) courses for the academic session 2017-18. There are a huge number of eligible candidates applied and wrote SVNIRTAR – CET 2017. All the qualified candidates in CET 2017, will be called for counselling based in order of merit list. Merit list/ Waiting list will be generated by SVNIRTAR on basis of marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test-2017.

Date of 1st Counseling (Tentative) : 29th August 2017 to 31st August 2017

Session begins at SVNIRTAR, Cuttack: 3rd October 2017

Session begins at NILD, Kolkata: 20th September 2017

Session begins at NIEPMD, Chennai: 7th September 2017

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The eligible candidates should report to the Chairman, SVNIRTAR – CET 2017, Director, SVNIRTAR, Cuttack on the date and time notified for counseling in person. The allotment of course / Institute will be made only when you attend the counseling.

The following procedure will be followed by candidates

  1. The candidates will be called in the order of merit and shall be offered the seat and Institute available / vacant at his / her turn. Each candidate will have to select course and Institute (subject to eligibility) and from the available seat of the Institute.
  2. The parents / guardian shall not be allowed in counseling hall. However, the candidate may be given enough opportunity to consult his / her guardian prior to counseling.
  3. At the time of counseling, the candidates have to produce original certificates and two sets of self attested photocopies thereof. One of original documents (X certificate/XII mark sheet) may be retained in the Institute till the completion of the first year examination.
  4. A candidate, who fails to appear in person on the notified date and time for counseling shall forfeit his/her claim for a seat.
  5. A candidate who is allotted a seat shall be admitted provisionally. He / She will be required to deposit the prescribed fee on the spot by demand draft.

Documents Required in ORIGINAL at the Time Of Counselling / Admission

  • Original Admit Card of CET-2017 and Counseling letter.
  • Date of birth (Secondary School/Matriculation Certificate/Admit Card) issued by the affiliating board.
  • Certificate and mark sheet of the qualifying examination issued by the Board/University.
  • Conduct and Character Certificate from the head of the Institution from where the qualifying examination was passed or from principal of the college/school where the candidate has studied last.
  • Certificate of medical fitness to be signed by a Govt. Medical Officer.
  • SC/ST certificate or Physically Handicapped certificate from appropriate authorities on the basis of which reservation is claimed. The concerned Institute may constitute a medical board to assess disability/eligibility of candidate to pursue the said course. No SEBC certificate will be accepted. OBC certificate (Non Creamy layer) issued in Govt. of India format only within one year as on date of counseling will be accepted.
  • Migration certificate in original form the respective regular School/University where he/she has studied last to be submitted as per requirement of University.
  • Nationality/Domicile or Residence Certificate issued by Competent Authority.
  • Gap year certificate, if applicable.

For admission into the Second Year (3rd Semester) of Engineering / Pharmacy Degree courses in West Bengal Institutions / Colleges, it is essential for the candidates to have appeared in the State Common Entrance Examination i.e. JELET-2017 and to secure a rank and it has been decided by the State Government in the Higher Education Department to continue the admission process on the basis of the norms of the AICTE and other regulatory authorities.

Previous year (In 2016 year) WB Board was successfully conducted the JELET 2016 Counselling from 29th August 2016 to 2nd September 2016 at GITAJALI STADIUM, Rajdanga, Kasba ( near E.M. Bypass) Kolkata-700 107. This academic year (2017 year) JELET 2017 Counselling Schedule will be declared by WB Board after announcement Rank cards.

The candidates who are going to appear for JELET 2017 counselling, you should need to pay the Counselling fee of Rs. 510/- by either to any branch of Allahabad Bank during banking hours. WBJEEB JELET 2017 Admissions Procedure | Counselling Process

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will conduct the centralized counselling for filling up of Second Year (3rd Semester) of Engineering / Pharmacy course through JELET Entrance test 2017 Merit. The eligible candidates in JELET 2017 will be called for Counselling. Counselling as per the declared schedule shall continue till availability of seats. Candidates belonging to States other than West Bengal shall not be considered for admission to Govt. Engineering & Technology Colleges.

Any candidate appearing at the counseling with counterfeit documents/testimonials will be immediately handed over to the police

Required documents to be submit at the time of counselling verification process

At the time of counseling candidates should report with the following documents

  • Downloaded Counselling form duly signed
  • Print out of Rank Card 2017
  • Board’s copy of the e-Challan (to be retained by the Board), if payment is made through Offline mode.
  • JELET-2017 Admit Card Downloaded
  • CASTE certificate in original (for SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B candidates of West Bengal only) issued by competent authority.
  • Domicile Certificate issued by competent authority as mentioned in the Information Brochure of JELET-2017, if the candidate seeks admission to Government Engineering and Technology Colleges
  • PWD certificate in Original (for PWD candidates of West Bengal only) issued by competent authority.

Eligibility criteria for PWD Candidates

The PWD candidates claiming seats under reserved category are required to satisfy the undernoted criteria

For PWD (loco motor disorder, visual impairment, speech and hearing impairment) category candidates a minimum of 40% disability is required subject to the condition that the candidate is capable of carrying out all activities related to theory and practical works as applicable to BE / B.Tech / B.Pharm courses without any special concession and exemption.
