This academic year the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2017 will be conducted by CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF RAJASTHAN on 17, 18 May 2017 at 76 major cities through in India. CUCET 2017 is a national level entrance test conducting for admission into Under-Graduation (UG) and Integrated Programmes / Post Graduation (PG), M.Tech B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Pharma, PG-Diploma / M.Phil, and Ph.D. Research Programmes under a consortium of 10 Central Universities of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, South Bihar and Tamil Nadu (called Participating Universities, PUs) for the academic year 2017-18
About CUCET 2017
This academic year the Coordinating University for CUCET 2017 Advertisement is CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF PUNJAB. These are Central Universities of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and South Bihar and Bengaluru Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics having joined. CUCET has been conducting for the students of 10+2 (Higher Secondary), Bachelor Degree (Under-Graduation) holders and Master Degree (Post-Graduation) holders to obtain admission into the UG (Bachelor Degree) / Integrated Program / B.Voc., Post Graduate Program and the Research Program respectively in these ten Central Universities. There are provides a single window opportunity to the students to seek admission in ten central universities across the country through CUCET 2017 merit.

CUCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who qualified 10+2 / Bachelor Degree holders / Master Degree Courses in relevant subjects with minimum of pass marks are eligible to apply for CUCET 2017. The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply for CUCET-2017, but at the time of admission counselling, he/she will have to produce the mark sheet / degree about their fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

CUCET Entrance test 2017 Question Paper Pattern
- CUCET test question paper will be available in two parts those are “Part A & Part B”
- Each paper will be only of Two Hours Duration.
- Question paper consist MCQ type questions only (The candidate will have to choose one correct answer and mark on OMR Sheet)
Question Paper Part-A:
Part-A contained 25 MCQs type questions from Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytical skills
Question Paper Part-B:
Part-A consist 75 of MCQ type questions from Domain Knowledge
This part may consist of three / four / five sections, Each section will have 25 questions
If the Admission for some Integrated Courses / MBA/ LLB or any other general course(s) then there will be only one paper containing of 100 MCQs Questions from English language, reasoning, data interpretations / numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills will be held.
CUCET-2017 Negative Marking System
There will be negative marking for this entrance test. Each correct answer will carry 01 mark and for each wrong answer, 0.25 mark will be deducted. If Questions not attempted will not be assessed and hence will not be considered for preparing final merit list.
