TNEA 2019 B.Arch Admission Counselling Schedule & Procedure

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2017 will conduct the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) Admissions for 2017-18 Counselling very soon. All the successfully applicants for TNEA 2017 B.Arch Admissions through online, you are suggested to keep update with the official website for further latest news.

TNEA will issue the overall rank and Community-wise rank list for those candidates who registered for TNEA 2017 B.Arch Admissions through online. The Rank list will appear at Anna University website, https://barch.tnea.ac.in. The shortlisted candidates will be called for B.Arch Admission Counselling.

Single Window Process

All admissions made through single window system are provisional.

Short listed candidates will be called for counselling based on their rank and branches and colleges will be allotted according to their choices from the number of seats reserved under sports quota based. Sports quota counselling will be held before the commencement of general counselling

Candidates in proportion to the available seats will be called to appear before the Common Committee for Engineering or Medicine for verification of the Originals, followed by counselling after ranking.

TNEA B.Arch (Revaluation / Change Marks) Accepts

If any candidates got high score in their qualifying examinations through Revaluation? then he/she can attend counselling as per the new mark and rank, though the call letter specifies different time (as per original mark).

TNEA B.Arch – Seat allotment & Fee payment at the time of counselling

If any candidate allotted a seat, then you should be paid the below given amount of fee at the time of counselling will be adjusted towards the tuition fee.

1. For general / OBC candidates: Rs.5000/-
2. For SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu: Rs.1000/-

The Demand draft should be drawn in favour of, “The Secretary, TNEA, Anna University, Chennai 25”.

TNEA B.Arch – Fee payment Refund Policy

If the candidate does not join after allotment and seeks refund, only 80% of the initial deposit amount paid at the time of counselling will be refunded, if original allotment order with acknowledgement for the receipt of payment is surrendered on or before 31st December 2017. The refund will be processed only through TNEA 2017 refund processing system available online in TNEA website.

TNEA B.Arch Counselling Process

• The candidates who are eligible, will be called for counselling in the order of their merit.
• Based on the merit and communal reservation, allotment of college chosen by the candidate will be made.
• Candidates have to opt for colleges that are available at the time of counselling.
• Eligible candidates who have applied may appear for counselling according to their cut-off mark, two hours before their counselling session along with their original certificates for verification.
• The date, time and venue for counselling will be intimated to the candidates in Anna University website.
• Candidates shall download their call letter from Anna University web portal.
• Change of date/time of counselling is not permissible.
• Candidates who do not attend the counselling may have to forego the claim for admission.
• Due to unforeseen and unavoidable reasons, if a candidate is unable to attend the counselling on the specified date and time, he / she can authorise his / her parent on his / her behalf and the parent’s decision will be binding on the candidate.

Note: Candidates appeared for HSC / Equivalent examination in March 2017 must produce original Mark Sheet and TC at the time of counselling. Candidates called for counselling should produce discharge certificates and Ex-servicemen ID card of their parents (If applicable). Certificates obtained from individual Doctor will not be considered. Further, a separate Board for each category will examine the candidates with reference to their certificates, before counselling (If applicable).
