West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board Conducting the EVETS Common Entrance test on 27th May 2017 for admission to Bachelor of Veterinary and Animal husbandry (B. V. Sc. & A. H.) in the faculty of Veterinary and Animal Science under the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences. The EVETS 2017 Online application submission was closed by 22nd March 2017, also there are huge of eligible students applied to participate in the EVETS common entrance test. EVETS 2017 Test Age limit: Not less than 17 years as on 31s’ December, 2017.
EVETS Registration Fee Payment:
Application fee is: Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) plus the Bank’s Service Charges as applicable
Registration fee payment mode: The Examination Fees can be paid in cash less mode by “Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card” or in cash using Allahabad Bank e-challan modes are acceptable
Note: The fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances.
WBJEEB EVETS 2017 Application Procedure (How to apply)
The candidates who are eligible and interested can apply for WBJEEB EVETS Entrance test 2017 through online mode only through the web- portal http://wbjeeb.in on or before last date. For making the application, the candidate needs to have a working mobile number and an email ID. All future communications will be done using them only. Candidates are advised to please re-verify all the fields which entered by you in the online application before submit it, because you cannot changed the application data after submitted it. The successfully applicants for EVETS 2017 test, can be download their online application form (Receipt) for future usage.

WBJEEB EVETS 2017 Correction of application form (Changes/ modification / edit option)
A candidate who entered their personal data in EVETS 2017 online application form, once submit it, then there is no chance to modify it after submission through online. Information provided in the application form once submitted cannot be changed / edited / modified under normal circumstances.
If any candidate intends to correct any other information in his / her application then you need to personally visit the WBJEEB Board office with your all original documents within the last date of application. Nevertheless, the Board’s decision in this regard will be final and binding for the candidate. The EVETS 2017 Confirmation page, admit card, rank card etc. will be issued with the personal detail as given by the candidate.
Note: In case of any problem to the candidate during admission or thereafter due to any mistake committed by him/her, the Board is not in a position to render any help e.g. issuing any letter of correction. The candidate has to take corrective actions at his/her end with the Institute, where he/she takes admission.

EVETS 2017 Admit Card & Instructions for candidates
- Candidates must ensure that the admit card is not mutilated/ distorted/ soiled even by accident.
- Candidates with such mutilated/ distorted/ soiled admit cards will not be allowed to appear in EVETS-2017.
- Duplicate admit cards cannot be generated after the examination.
- Hence, candidates are advised to preserve your admit card in secured place and in undamaged condition for all future purpose
- WBJEEB does not verify the information provided by the candidate during online application.
- Admit cards issued only on the basis of the information provided by the candidate.
- All applicants who appear to be prima facie eligible will be issued admit cards and shall be provisionally permitted to sit for EVETS-2017.

WBJEEB EVETS Examination 2017 Rules & Instructions for Participation
The candidates, who are going to appear for the EVETS Test 2017, should carry the following documents in order to enter the examination centre.
A hard copy of admit card of EVETS-2017
A copy of colored photograph uploaded during online application.
Any photo identity card in original such as Aadhar card (or) Pan Card (or) Passport (or) 10th standard admit card (or) School – ID card.

Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination centre 30 minutes before commencement of the test.

Candidates are advised to take their seats at least 15 minutes before the test.

Question booklets and OMRs will be distributed maximum 15 minutes before commencement of the test.

Candidates should put your signature on the top of question booklet.

WBJEEB EVETS 2017 Question Papers Pattern
EVETS entrance test will consist of two papers, those are given followed below
- Paper 1: Physics & Chemistry (time duration is 2 hours for maximum of 100 marks)
- Paper 2: Biological Sciences (time duration is 2 hours for maximum of 100 marks)
- The both individual question papers carries maximum of 100 marks for each
- Each paper will contain fifty (50) questions.
- All questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type, with four answer options.
- MCQ Type questions: All questions will have four answer options among them only one option is correct.
- Each Correct response will yield 2 (two) mark.
- Time for each paper is 2 hours.
- The questions will be in both English and Bengali language.
There will be negative marking system i.e. Incorrect response will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks.
Note: For any combination of response with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks

The candidates who appeared in EVETS test 2017, you can download results / score / marks / Merit List through the Board’s official website at http://www.wbjeeb.nic.in/ from 30th June 2017. This list shall be in the name and style of ‘GMR’ (General Merit Rank). Separate reserved category merit rank shall also be published for respective category of students e.g. SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, PwD Rank.

For admission in to Bachelor of Veterinary and Animal husbandry (B. V. Sc. & A. H.) course, the candidate must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) or its equivalent examination recognized by the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Vernacular along with minimum 50% (40% for SC/ST candidates) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.
