WBSCTE JEXPO-2017 Eligibility Criteria for Applicants to Entrance Examination
Citizenship: Candidate must be an Indian Citizen
Education Qualification: Madhyamik / 10th Calss / Secondary / Matriculation
Candidates who qualified Secondary (Madhyamik) / 10th standard Examination with English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics (without the marks of additional subject) among others as subjects securing at least 35% marks (without rounding up) in aggregate are eligible to apply for JEXPO 2017 Entrance test. Subject to production of original mark sheet / pass certificate at the time of admission
Candidates appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in 2017 with English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics among others as subjects may also apply.
Definition for without rounding up : Without rounding up means that any short fall of marks from the above bench mark will render the candidate ineligible for JEXPO-2017 (Example: 34.99% marks will not be considered as 35%)
Age Limit: Candidates should not be born after 1st July 2002 and there is no upper age limit.
JEXPO Application fee
- Online Application is Rs. 450/- (Rs. 225/- for valid Kanyashree enrolees).
- If CASH payment then Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for valid Kanyashree enrolees).
JEXPO Application Procedure
The eligible and interested candidates can apply for JEXPO entrance test either Online mode (or) offline application form submission mode.
Offline mode (JEXPO Application form submission)
You should purchase the printed OMR Application Form along with Information Brochure for JEXPO-2017 at All Government, Government Sponsored and Self-financed polytechnics affiliated to the WBSCT&VE&SD (erstwhile WBSCTE), Government ITI s including PTP run Private and Government ITI s in West Bengal and one centre in Tripura on CASH payment of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for valid Kanyashree enrolees). Fill the application form with your details and submit it to WBSCTE from 30th January, 2017 to 6th March, 2017.
An applicant should ensure that he/she satisfies the requirements relating to Age, Educational Qualification, Caste, etc. before submission of the filled-in application form at the centers
Online mode (JEXPO Entrance test online Registration)
Candidates can also submit Application Form online in the website www.webscte.org (or in any other website as per announcement later). Fee for Online Application is Rs. 450/- (Rs. 225/- for valid Kanyashree enrolees)

JEXPO Examination 2017 Scheme / Test Pattern
There will be conducted the JEXPO-2017 Entrance test comprising in two papers for admission of students to Diploma Courses in Engineering/Technology, those are given followed below

- Physics & Chemistry (Second Paper)
Question papers contain all Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type questions only
In the OMR Answer Sheet, appropriate circles are to be ‘completely filled’ by using BLACK/BLUE BALL-POINT pen

JEXPO Instructions / Procedure for Conduct of Examination
- Candidates should attend in the examination hall 30 minutes before the start of exam
- Candidates must bring with them the downloaded JEXPO-2017 e-Admit Card along with an original Photo Identity card
- Candidates must bring Blue/Black Ball-point pen for answer in OMR sheet
Photo Identity Proof card:
The Photo Identity cards such as Aadhaar Card / Admit Card or Certificate of Madhyamik or equivalent examination which contain the photograph / Voter Identity Card / Driving Lience / PAN Card / Passport / Bank Passbook which contain the photograph or any other photo identiy card issued by the Competent Government Authority to prove their identity

West Bengal State Council of Technical Education will be published the JEXPO-2017 Results / Merit List through online official website http://webscte.org tentatively on 12th May 2017. All the related students who participated in the JEXPO entrance test 2017, you can download your results / mark sheet / merit list through online.
JEXPO Rank Card / Score Card Download
All the qualified candidates in JEXPO Test 2017, you can download your JEXPO Rank Card 2017 through online official website to after 10 days from the date of announcement of JEXPO Results 2017. JEXPO Rank cards will be generated online for only the candidates who qualified in the JEXPO Entrance exam. Candidates are advised to preserve your Rank card and submit it at the time of counselling certificate verification process.

West Bengal State Council of Technical Education will be called the qualified candidates for Diploma admissions counselling 2017-18 Rank / score wise. The JEXPO 2017 counselling schedule shortly update at WBSCTE Official website and here in this webpage also soon. The candidates, who are going to attend for the JEXPO 2017 Counselling, can download their Call letter for admissions and attend for the counselling on your scheduled date & time. Candidates should require bringing their all relevant original certificated to submit at the time of counselling certificate verification process.
