General Instructions

I. Read Instructions carefully and select “I Agree” check box  to proceed further.

II. Delete the cache memory before starting the registration process.(Press Ctrl+h).

III. Date & Time of your Computer System should be correct.

IV. Steps to enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer versions(6.0 or above),Mozilla Firefox(3.0 or above),Google Chrome(2.0 or above)

1. Recruitment Advertisement – Please read the Employment/ Recruitment Advertisement of BIS given in the BIS website/Employment News Dated 27-Apr-2013 To 03-May-2013 carefully with particular reference to various qualifying requirements (please refer Annexure-A)).

2. Before starting to fill up the on-line application, the candidate should keep at hand the following details/documents/information:-

a) His/Her Educational Qualifications, details with percentage of marks, etc. as per eligibility criteria.

b) Personal details.

c) In case of SC/ST/OBC Candidates, the Caste certificate will be valid only if issued by Appropriate Authority for seeking fee relaxation/Age relaxation and benefit of reservation.

d) In case of Person with disability, certificate of disability issued by appropriate Medical Authority.

e) His/her scanned photograph and signature.

f) Any other document/information with regard to his eligibility for the post.

g) Discharge certificate, in the case of Ex-servicemen candidates.

h) Matriculation Certificate in case of Women candidates.
