Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) was successfully conducted the Indian School Certificate (I.S.C.) Annual Examinations in between 7th February 2018 and 2nd April 2018, Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (I.C.S.E.) Public Examination conducts in between 26th February 2018 and 28th March 2018 at different examination centers throughout the Country and few other countries. There are so many eligible students participated for CISCE – ISC / ICSE Final Examinations to be held in February / March 2018 and they are waiting for the date of declaration of results. CISCE will be issued the ISC & ICSE Final Examination Feb/Mar 2018 Results in May 2018 (The exact date of declaration of results will update here soon).
After completion of ISC / ICSE Examination and then the answer paper evaluation process will be conduct by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. The answer paper evaluation process takes few weeks to evaluate and calculate each student marks. Once complete the answer paper evaluation process and then the results will live online at the Board’s official website at www.cisce.org. All the related candidates who wrote ISC & ICSE Main Examination February / March 2018, you are suggested to check your results online easily. Change of the Pass Mark criteria for the ICSE & ISC Examinations from the Examination Year 2018 onwards
Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) recently issued the Change of the Pass Mark criteria for the ICSE & ISC Examinations notification for Heads of all Council Affiliated Schools. The notification was issued on 10th January 2018 by “Gerry Arathoon” (Chief Executive and Secretary) in the circular “:No. CISCE/Cir/2017 dated 27th November 2017”. According to the official notification the ICSE Examination the pass marks would be 33% instead of the present 35% and for the ISC Examination the pass marks would be 35% instead of the present 40%.
Kindly note that the change in the pass marks for the ICSE & ISC Examinations will be effective from the Examination Year 2018 onwards and not from the Examination Year 2019.

The ICSE Examination has been conducted in 57 written subjects of which 22 are Indian languages and 9 are foreign languages.
The ISC Examination has been conducted in 50 written subjects of which 16 are Indian languages, 5 are foreign languages and 3 are classical languages.
For ICSE in India, the Southern region has the best pass percentage i.e. 99.64% followed by the Western region (99.64%), Eastern region (98.22%) & Northern region (97.85%). Abroad, ICSE has achieved 100%.
For ISC in India, the Southern Region has the best pass percentage i.e. 98.97%, followed by Western Region (97.99%), Northern Region (96.01%) and Eastern Region (96.31%). Abroad, ISC has achieved pass percentage of 100%
ICSE – SPECIAL CATEGORY STATISTICS
- 8228 Scheduled Caste candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 97.63%
- 5810 Scheduled Tribe candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 97.16%
- 32009 Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 98.43%
- Special Difficulty cases for ICSE such as Dyslexia cases were 915 (83 candidates obtained above 90%); Visually Challenged cases were 34 (8 candidates obtained above 90%) and 4 candidates took their examinations in the Hospitals
- The Council for the Eighth year successfully conducted the centralized evaluation of answer scripts for the ICSE Examinations.
- ICSE had 505 centralized evaluation centres across the Country.
- The ICSE Examination Mark Sheets and Pass Certificates will reach the schools latest by 6th June 2017.
ISC – SPECIAL CATEGORY STATISTICS
- 2676 Scheduled Caste candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 94.17%
- 2705 Scheduled Tribe candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 92.68%
- 8681 Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 95.76%
- Special Difficulty cases for ISC such as Dyslexia cases were 168 (9 candidates obtained above 90%); Visually Challenged cases were 14 (2 candidates obtained above 90%) and 0 candidates took their examinations in the Hospitals
- The Council for the Eighth year successfully conducted the centralized evaluation of answer scripts for the ISC Examinations.
- ISC had 543 centralized evaluation centres across the Country.
- The ISC Examination Mark Sheets and Pass Certificates will reach the schools latest by 2nd June 2017.
