Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) invites applications for the post of Constable (Tradesman) for vacancies of 496. Interested Candidates may apply before Last Date.
ITBPF is a specialized mountain Force and most of the officers & men are professionally trained mountaineers and skiers. Being the first responder for natural disaster in the Himalayas, ITBPF has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations.

Applications are invited for filling up the vacancies of above post in Group-C on temporary basis likely to be permanent in Indo-Tibetan Boarder Police force.

Pay Scale – Pay Band -I, Rs. 5200 – 20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month.
Application Fees: For Gen. and OBC Category- 50/- (non-refundable) by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only”. CRFS are available all counter of Post office. For SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/female and Schedule Cast are exempt for paying fee.
Selection Process:
a) HEIGHT BAR- At the very beginning of recruitment process, candidates will go through the height bar test. The candidates not meeting the prescribed height will be eliminated there only.
b) RACE- Those who qualify the height Bar Test, will be subjected to 05 Km race to be completed within 24 minutes (for male) and 1.6 Km within 8.30 minutes (for female, applying for the post of Constable (Tailor) only).
c) PHYSICAL STANDARD TEST (PST): Candidates who qualify the race will be screened for Height, Chest and Weight measurements.
Note: – Race will not be held for Ex- servicemen. However, Ex-servicemen will be required to pass the requisite PST, trade test, written test and medical examination.
d) TRADE TESTS (50 MARKS).
The candidates who qualify the PST will be put through the respective trade test. Each candidate will be allowed to appear for one trade test only as applied in the application form.
Written Test: candidates who clear all tests above mentioned will appear in written Test of 50 Marks.
