The talk is about the time when Mahatma Buddha was traveling around the world promoting Buddhism and giving knowledge to the people.
Once, Mahatma Buddha was traveling in a village with some of his disciples. In those days no vehicles were used, so people traveled miles on foot. It was too late to roam in the same village.
Buddha ji had a lot of thirst. They instructed one of his disciple to bring water from the village. When the disciple went inside the village, he saw there was a river where many people were washing clothes while some people were bathing, the river’s water looked quite dirty.
The disciple thought that it would not be right to take such a dirty water for Guru ji, he thought he came back. Mahatma Buddha was very thirsty, so he again sent another disciple to bring water. After some time, the disciple returned and brought water.
Mahatma Buddha asked the disciple that the water of the river was dirty then how did you bring clear water? The disciple said that Lord river water was actually dirty but after waiting people I waited for some time. After some time the soil sat down and clean water came up.
Buddha was very pleased to hear this and also taught the other disciples that this is our life which is like water. As long as our karma is good, everything is pure, but there are many sorrows and problems in life, which makes life water seem dirty.
Some people are frightened by seeing the evil like the first disciple and they go back after looking at trouble, they can never go ahead in life, and on the other hand, some people who are patient are not disturbed and after some time the problems of dirt And the suffering itself ends.
So friends, learning about this story is that the problem and the evil can dirty life’s water for only a short time. But if you work patiently then the evil itself will leave with you some time later.
