Mumbai University – Ph.D. Entrance Test Held on 3rd January 2016
The University of Mumbai recently notified the Ph.D. Entrance Test January 2015 application for the interested candidates. The Ph.D. notification “No. Exam/Thesis/Notification/ 218 / 2015” published through the university website after approved it by the “Deepak Wasave (Offg. Controller of Examinations)” on Date is 16th November, 2015.

The Ph.D. Entrance Test – .January. 2016 Notification
The University of Mumbai invites Online Applications (only) for the Ph.D. Entrance Test, (PET Jan – 2016) in the concerned subjects of research in the Faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, Management, Fine Arts and Technology for the interested candidates. The University of Mumbai conducting the Ph.D Entrance exam to provide seats in various faculty of Ph.D. regular Course under the university. The seat allotment will be made by councellings and depending on merit in the entrance exam.

Registration fees (Non Refundable):-

• For general category – Rs.1000/-
• For reserved category – Rs.500/- (SC/ST/DT/NT/OBC/SBC – Caste Certificate is a must)

Payment mode :
Candidates are requested to pay the requisites fees by DD in favor of ‘Finance and Account Officer, University of Mumbai, Mumbai’ or ‘By Cash’ in Room No 13, Ground Floor, University of Mumbai, Fort, Mumbai – 400 032. during 11.00 am to 2.30 pm. between 16,h November, 2015 to 30lh November, 2015 (except holidays) and enclose the DD / Receipt of such payment with the Application Form and submit the same to the Thesis Section Room No 129, 1st Floor, University of Mumbai, Fort, Mumbai – 400 032.

How to apply :
General Instruction: – The candidates can fill the Online Application Form for the said Entrance Test from the University website and print the form the form should be submitted in duplicate along with the attested photocopies of previous educational qualifications, work experience certificates (if any) and also Caste certificate (whenever applicable) to the Thesis Section Room No 129, lst Floor, University of Mumbai, Fort, Mumbai – 400 032 on or before last date is 30th November, 2015, upto 2.30 p.m. (refer Annexure-lV for Application Form).
