Medical Courses:
- Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

- Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)
Veterinary course:
Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH)
Criteria of Eligibility for Admission:
- Nativity: Only candidates living in Indian are eligible for admission. And Kerala Domesticated person.
Academic Eligibility:
- MBBS,BDS,BSMS: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examination recognized equivalent there to with 50% marks in biology/Biotechnology separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together are eligible. If candidates do not have biology subject in 10+2, biotechnology is considered as a subject for eligibility.
- NOTE: Only those candidates who secure 50% marks in the Medical Entrance Examination (Paper I & II taken together) of KEAM-2019 will be considered for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC will be considered for admission to these courses only if they have scored a minimum of 40% marks in the Medical Entrance Examination (Paper I & II taken together). Candidates with Locomotory disability of lower limbs between 40% to 70% will be considered for admission to MBBS course only if they have scored a minimum of 45 % marks in the Medical Entrance Examination (Paper I& II taken together).
- In admission to BHMS/BAMS courses: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognized equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible. Biotechnology is not be considered as eligibility subject.
- For admission to BVSc. & AH Course: Candidates eligible which have secured 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Higher Secondary Examination.
- Candidates who have passed the BSc Degree (Three year course) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany or Biotechnology as Main, and any one or two of the above subjects as Subsidiaries, with 50% marks for Main & Subsidiaries taken together, subject to the condition that they have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or examinations recognized as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects are eligible for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BSMS courses.
Age:
He/She should have completed 17 years on the 31/12/2019. No Relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed. There is no maximum age limit for KEAM–2019.
Application Fee:
The application fee is described below :
- General: Rs. Eight hundred
- Schedule cast / ST: Rs.400/-
How applicant do Payment of Application Fee:
- Candidate can pay application fee in either of the two following methods:
- (a) Prospectus can be obtained from selected Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State, by doing payment as demand of Rs.800/- or Rs.400/- in cash. The code have which is situated in Security panel and not shown without scratching the silver panel. There is a Serial Number on each code. The Key number and Serial No. are special and are needed for filling up of payment details in the online application.
- (b) Demand Draft: Application fee can be paid by way of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a Nationalized/Scheduled Bank, in favor of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
Examination:
- Entrance Examinations will be held at the selected venues in all Districts in the State, Mumbai, Ranchi, Shillong, New Delhi and Dubai.
Online Admit Cards:
The Admit Card for the Entrance Examination can be downloaded from the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, www.cee.kerala.gov.in . The candidates will have to enter their Application number and Date of Birth provided in the application form in order to download the admit card. They will have to take a printout of the admit card. Admit cards will not be sent by post from the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. All candidates whose application has been accepted should download their admit card well in advance. A candidate who does not possess the Admit Card will not be admitted to the Examination Hall under any circumstances.
