AP POLYCET 2019 ADMISSIONS | Coubselling Schedule | Call Letter Download

Good news i.e. Department of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh has published the AP POLYCET 2019 Couselling Schedule for ADMISSIONS INTO POLYTECHNICS (APPOLYCET – 2019). All the related candidates who qualified in APPOLYCET – 2019, you are suggested to check the counseling schedule.

The Qualified candidates of A.P-POLYCET-2019 are informed that the admission into Polytechnics will be conducted based on Web based Counselling. Accordingly, the qualified candidates of A.P-POLYCET-2019 are informed to attend for certificate verification in any one of the Help Line Centres indicated below and as per the schedule given under, with all original certificates and two sets of Xerox copies like

1. S.S.C or its equivalent Marks memo (Original or Internet copy).

2. Aadhar card. (Will be returned after verification)

3. IV to X Study Certificate or Residence Certificate (in case where the candidate has no institutionalized education) or Residence Certificate of either of parents in A.P. for 10 years in case of non-local candidates.

4. Income Certificate issued on or after 01.01.2016 or white ration Card for claiming tuition fee reimbursement.

5. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of reserved category candidates.

6. PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority/Anglo-Indian Certificate if applicable

Processing Fee: The Candidates of SC/ST category have to pay Rs. 400/- While OC/BC candidates have to pay Rs. 700/- towards Processing Fee.

Tuition Fee: Tuition fee payable after allotment is Rs. 4,700 (for Government and aided Polytechnics) and Rs.25,000 per annum (in Private unaided Polytechnics and Second Shift Engineering Colleges).The reimbursement of Tuition fee in respect of all eligible candidates will be as per the orders issued by Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.

However, The candidates who have been allotted a seat have to pay a non refundable fee of Rs.800/- towards A.P-SBTET recognition fee, Admissions fee, Syllabus Book, MIS fee & Tech Fest fee through online while downloading allotment order. The candidates have to pay difference of tuition fee in the allotted college.

It is informed that other certificates of these candidates will also be verified on the dates mentioned above along with Special Reservation category Certificates.

On the last day of schedule, options last exercised by the candidate will be frozen and candidate should take a print out. IF CANDIDATE WISHES TO CHANGE THE OPTIONS ONCE AGAIN AFTER FREEZING, CHANGE FROZEN OPTIONS ON 31st May 2019 from any HLC or Home or internet cafe. THIS IS THE FINAL OPPORTUNITY AND AFTER THIS NO FURTHER CHANGE CAN BE DONE. THE OPTIONS RECORDED IN THE SERVER ON THE LASTDAY WILL ALONE BE CONSIDERED FOR ALLOTMENT OF SEATS.

ALLOTMENT:

1) Allotments will be placed in Website https://appolycet.nic.in on 02nd June 2019 after 06.00 PM.

2) Enter the ICR Form Number, Hall Ticket number, Password and date of birth in Candidate Login.

3) Download the allotment order and report to the college.

4) Class work will commence from 06th June 2019.

Polycet 2nd Counselling 2018: CEEP Common Entrance Examination for Polytechnic Courses conducted for the students who seek admission into Polytechnic Colleges (Both Private and Government) located in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.

AP & TG CEEP (Polytechnic diploma) 2018 Second Phase Counseling dates

Qualified Candidates of POLYCET-2018 those who have participated in I-Phase of Counseling and not participated in I-Phase of Counseling are informed to exercise their options using their old password for the leftover seats now available, consequential vacancies that may arise in the process of allotment as per the schedule

LAST ++ Means: Including not qualified/ not appeared in POLYCET Minority candidates who have already applied to Convenor based on SSC or equivalent Marks.

NOTE: Options given in the 1st Phase will not be considered for allotment & candidates have to exercise option afresh.

Candidates who are satisfied with their previous allotment need not exercise option once again. They shall note that if they exercise options now and a seat is allotted as per the options, the vacated seat will be allotted to next meritorious candidate and hence they will have no claim on previous allotment.

Candidates who have not attended for Certificate Verification earlier should get their Certificates verified from designated 40 Help Line Centres mentioned from 06-09-2018 to 07-09-2018 (Reporting time: 09.00 A.M) and exercise their options.

However, the Special Category Candidates (Sports/NCC/CAP/PH) who were not verified their Certificates earlier should get their certificates verified at Sanketika Vidya Bhavan, Masab Tank, Hyderabad only.

GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH DEPARTMENT OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION has issued the Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) 2018 notification for admission into Diploma Courses in Engineering and non Engineering for the academic year 2018 – 2019. All the eligible and interested candidates are advised to apply for POLYCET 2018 through online on or before last date i.e. 14th April 2018. Further details regarding POLYCET eligibility, application procedure, prospects / information bulletin find below.

What is POLYCET?
POLYCET is a Polytechnic common entrance test conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training, Amaravati for admission into Diploma level programs conducted in Government, Aided, Private, Un-aided Polytechnics and Second Shift polytechnics run in existing Private un-aided Engineering Colleges. Every candidate desirous of seeking admission into Engineering/Non – Engineering Diploma course can apply online for POLYCET-2018. No separate application form for admission is prescribed. The filled in application for POLYCET-2018 itself is an application for admission. For admission into the Diploma Courses like Hotel Management and Catering Technology, D. Pharmacy, the entry qualification is 10 + 2 or 12th Standard.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for Common Entrance Test

  • Candidate shall be an Indian National
  • Candidate should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O.(P).No. 646, Education (w) Dept., dated 10-07-1979 and its subsequent amendments.
  • Candidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates belonging to NIOS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. SHOULD HAVE PASSED ALL THE SUBJECTS including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
  • Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2018, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET-2018

Age Limit: There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2018. However maximum eligible age for obtaining a scholarship, the guidelines prescribed in Memo No. 10537/SW (Edn.2)/2011, and issued from time to time by Social Welfare (Edn.) Department shall apply.

Note: Mere appearing for POLYCET-2018 and obtaining a merit rank does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission automatically unless the candidate fulfils the requirements laid down for admission.

The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada will be conducted the “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)” 2018 on 27th April 2018 for the candidates seeking admission in to all Diploma Courses in Engineering / Non Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics / institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics / Institutions running as 2nd shift in Pvt. Engineering Colleges) in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2018 – 2019.

All the eligible and interested candidates are suggested to apply for AP-POLYCET 2018 through online from 15th March 2018 and last date to application submission is 15th April 2018.
