1.How DND Works on Aircel Mobile?

All the mobile numbers in India are by default unsubscribed to NCPR. So any Telemarketer / Organization can call you at any time to promote their goods / services or send you SMS.

If you are fed up with these and want to stop these just subscribe to NCPR and Activate DND Service.

2.How to activate DND on Aircel?

To Activate DND Service in your Aircel mobile, you have two options.

Send SMS by typing START 0 to 1909
Call to 1909 and follow the IVR guidance

Fully Blocked

You can block all the commercial communications.

Partially Blocked

Through Partial blocked option you can block all commercial voice calls. However, you can choose to receive messages from your interested priorities (called Preferences) given below.

Real Estate,
Education,
Health,
Consumer goods and automobiles,
Communication/Broadcasting/Entertainment/IT,
Tourism and Leisure.
To subscribe for partial block, follow the below:

Single Preference

Send SMS typing START X to 1909. Replace X with preference number.
Call to 1909 and follow the IVR guidance
Multiple Preferences

Send SMS typing START X, X to 1909. Replace X with preference number.
Call to 1909 and follow the IVR guidance
Change current DND / NCPR preference

6.DND FAQ’s (Read full DND FAQ’s)

Activate DND Service(now NCPR), will never block Bank alerts SMS, Bank communications, Ticket / online booking confirmations, etc.
To activate any service from DND, each DND (now NCPR) request takes 7 days for the process and a confirmation SMS will be sent to you in 24 hours.

There should be minimum 7 days gap between previous DND request and registration for a new request.
