Before 1976, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education was conducting all High and Higher Secondary Schools exams in Tripura.In 1976, Tripura Board of Secondary Education was established to conduct all secondary and higher secondary exams. TBSE organized 1st public examinations in the year 1976.Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination) is used to called as School Final Examination and Higher Secondary (+2 stage) Examination is used to known as Higher Secondary Examination.
