Council of Scientific & Industrial Research & University Grants Commission (CSIR UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) 2016 online registration commencement from 12th April 2016. Last date to online application submission for UGC-NET 2016 is 13th May 2016. All the eligible candidates who are interested may apply for UGC NET 2016 through online mode only at official website http://cbsenet.nic.in/cms/public/home.aspx on or before last date i.e. 13-05-2016. University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) has been conducting by the Central Board of Secondary Education on behalf of UGC for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.

UGC NET 2016 Date, Time & Question paper pattern
The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held on 10th July, 2016 (Sunday) in three separate sessions as under:

Eligibility criteria :
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC.

Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on 01.07.2016
Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for Assistant Professor.
